The Walls Go Up

Jared went up by himself on Saturday and Sunday. His mission was to put up the remaining 3 walls so that on our honeymoon we could work on the roof together. He had to leave extra room for our doors, since we don't have them yet and don't know the size of frame they will have. We are planning a 5' slider to the balcony, and a door with a sidelight for the front. Due to the size of the building, the front door will open outwards to maximize space in the cabin. We will not be putting on a screen door because of this, but it should be okay because our sliding door will have a large screen, and we plan on having a few windows for good air ventilation and to have nice views from inside. If we can find some nice small windows to fit between the studs, we plan on putting a couple facing the road.

Jared managed to find some time to go fishing at a lake on his way into Wilberforce. He also took a rather disgusting photo of a huge bear poo he saw on the road just past the Woods' farm. It had lots of berries in it. I was going to post it on the blog but decided it's a little too nasty for people that don't want to look at poo for fun.
